Building News
1. A new 20 metre x 30 metre hard-covered outdoor area has been erected over our Amphitheatre. Once this is complete, our new synthetic surface will be installed underneath. This is due for completion in December 2009. Cost $125000, funded through the Australian Government’s National School Pride program.
2. Construction of our new Multi-Purpose Centre is due to commence in December 2009. This is a $2 million project and is funded through the Australian Government’s Primary Schools for the 21st Century program. Completion date is July 2010.
3. In early November, a panel consisting of school council representatives, teachers and school leadership interviewed and selected the Architect to design our new school. The overall goal is for us to be announced in the May 2010 State Government budget. Watch this space. Plans will be uploaded here as they are developed.
