Moriac Primary School

Hello, and welcome to our website.

Moriac Primary School has an enrolment of 207 children in 10 grades. We have a strong sense of community and history with the school firmly entrenched within the Moriac township. Approximately half of our children come from the township with the remainder travelling from the surrounding areas.

Strong student learning in literacy and numeracy are both key foci with an emphasis on the development of independent, lifelong learners who can set goals and apply effort towards their achievement. We also offer several specialist subjects – visual and performing arts, physical education, LOTE Italian (3-6) and ICT (P-2).

Our ‘relationships triangle’ promotes three important areas which encourage all children to: learn well, be kind and be safe. Our logo links these together under three aspirational and inspirational words: Exceptional, Responsible and Respectful.
